Travel Vaccinations
Do you need vaccinations?
Our nurses can advise you on all aspects of travel health, including staying safe in the sun; protection from malaria and how to manage your medication while you are travelling. If you are taking any regular medication, especially opiates or other controlled drugs, your tour operator or airline may require evidence that the drugs you are carrying are for medical use. Upon request, we can supply you with a letter that satisfies these requirements. There is a small fee for this non-NHS service.
If you require any vaccinations for foreign travel please make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. To determine which vaccinations are required, the nurse will need to know which countries you are travelling to and the areas that you intend to visit within those countries. Please complete the online questionnaire below prior to your first appointment. This will help the nurse to determine your requirements.
Select the region you are travelling to find out more.
